Two people who quit their jobs to do this properly
Nick Lemaire and Austin Sanderson met working at a car dealership in Little Rock. They found out they shared the same obsession, walked away from the dealership in late 2021, and opened a single bay shop with a plan to go big.
How it started
Self-taught hobbyists who trained up.
Neither of them came out of a trade school. They came out of a dealership, obsessed with car care, doing it on their own vehicles until they were better at it than the job they were paid for.
What turned that into a business was training, and the certifications that let a manufacturer stand behind the work. The single bay became a full shop at 920 Shall Avenue, and the goal has not changed: be Central Arkansas's number one rated detail and film shop, and get there on the work rather than the marketing.

We are also an authorized installer for the lighting and coating brands we carry. We install their products rather than parts customers bring in. When the product and the install both come from us, there is nobody to point at.

I would like to give a 10/10 rating to Slick Auto Care. Not only was Austin and Nick communication skills great but they were also very reliable and walked me through the issue. Time management was on point, I submitted a request online, Austin called me within 5-10mins afterwards, I went by the shop the next day where I met Nick and I showed him what the issue was. We talked about the repair processes and procedures, ensured me that they would fixed the paint correction and chipped paint area as much as they could and they did just that. Highly recommend Slick Auto Care and their team.

Slick responded to my question on Yelp almost immediately! They schedule by appointment so you dont have to wait in line. My car was washed by hand and he dried it to where it was spotless and looked new. I am definitely making Slick my weekly car wash!
