Vents, seat rails, door frames, trim seams, the underside of the trunk lid. A car wash never touches them, and they are what make a clean car still feel dirty.

Interior work uses steam and hot water extraction. Carpets and cloth seats get shampooed or steamed depending on the package, leather gets deep cleaned and conditioned, and the dash gets UV protected so it stops going chalky.
For pet hair and odors, we clean the surfaces holding the smell instead of spraying over it.

Most of the fine scratches you see in paint come from automatic car washes and their spinning brushes. We wash every vehicle by hand, with clean towels and careful drying. Wheels and tires get cleaned and dressed, and we pull the grit out of the paint so it feels smooth again afterwards.
We restore headlights here too. Yellow, cloudy lenses are worn, and we sand and polish them back to clear.
Washing properly stops fine scratches getting worse. Taking them out is a paint correction job.
Slick Auto Care did a headlight PPF covering and an inside and out detail for me. All the work was top notch and done in an afternoon. Recommended.

Slick responded to my question on Yelp almost immediately! They schedule by appointment so you dont have to wait in line. My car was washed by hand and he dried it to where it was spotless and looked new. I am definitely making Slick my weekly car wash!

What is the difference between a detail and a car wash?
